This site was created by a gardener, a digital camera fanatic and nature-watcher-wannabe.

Taking pictures of nature became my newest love, when my family started fearing the sight of my camera bag.
After a reaction like that, I thought it was time to go looking for more grateful subjects and I think I found them right in my own backyard.
They sing to me, mess up my deck and eat all of my food, but they don't complain. So, they couldn't possibly be any of my kids.

Now, I've a whole bunch of pictures and I'm hoping that other gardeners and nature lovers' out there, will help me identify some of my backyard critters.
The flowers, I'm pretty good at saving the tags that they come in with. :)

ps. I'll be writing this site assuming that most of us are hobbyists, like me.
