Birdhouse from Boot - Reuse- Recycle

One of the recycle craft swaps I sent was a birdhouse made out of a childs pink rubber boot!
I painted the wooden roof with aqua colored paint.
And added pink, yellow, lavender dots to the roof, and the same colors to the edges of the roof.
I painted some dots on the boot toe as well.
Cut a hole in the front of the boot above where the foot part is, and under it made a slit and inserted a twig, added some moss and a little bird.
It turned out quite cute.
They would be cute from a cowboy boot, or workmans boot, or old hightop tennis shoes that are stiffened first too!
