Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients:
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 tbsp parsley
- 1 mashed clove of garlic
- 1 - 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 c boiled rice
- 1 few grains of cayenne
- 1 head of Savoy Cabbage curly cabbage
Instructions:
bake at: 375° for 50 minutes
To soften the cabbage;
I either freeze the cabbage the night before or boil the leaves but I suppose you could microwave it too but I haven't tried that yet.
Mix all the ingredients above.
Make a roll by placing about a cup full of the meat mixture above on the leaf and then roll.
Place rolls close together in a buttered dish.
Dot each roll with butter.
Pour 1 1/2 cup of tomato juice--over the rolls and cook until the meat is cooked and the leaves are very tender.
When I have it - I also add a quart of sauerkraut.
To make a sweet and sour mixture:
Add 4 tbs. of vinegar and 6 tbs. of brown sugar to the tomato juice.
