It's finally spring.

canadian flag waving in the wind It's finally Spring but is it?

- This has been a cold winter and even though it's suppose to be spring, it's still not that warm.

- flags are out and welcoming spring but no spring weather yet.

- people are also riding their bikes but they have gloves and toques on.

our first robin - robins are here.
- they're such a warm welcome.
- That means the warm weather will arrive eventually. :)
pussy willow in bloom -the pussy willows are loving the cool weather

- and they'll make a pretty wreath soon.

- just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit.

pussy willow in bloom - I'm so tempted to brave the cold and go and cut some but the smart/lazy part of my brain is saying "wait a few days". :)

- the smart part of my brain is winning so far.

bunny ate my perennials this winter - do you want to know why this rabbit is so fat?

- I will tell you!
"This winter he made my flower beds his home and my perenial plants his favourite food." :(

- do you know what's going to happen to him if I catch him? "I'll send him to Margie in Michigan!"
- You thought I was going to make "Rabbit Stew". I thought of that but he probably tastes like perennial carnations. :)
- I even bought him rabbit food but he turned up his nose to the bought food.
- I should just catch him and pull his little teeth out. He ate the rose bushes too.
- this is the first time I had a rabbit living in my backyard all winter though.
- next year I will cover my perennials with wire mesh. :(
