Home Gardens

Home Gardens:
_ cutting garden - my favourite - coming
_ herb garden - coming
_ kitchen vegetable garden - coming
_ perennial garden - coming
_ Zen garden - coming

- when did home gardening become so complicated?
- alkaline soil
- companion planting
- composting
- composting 2
- growing holly
- herbs: planting and caring || harvesting, drying and storing
- how I made my bulb cages
- irises for the perennial garden
- landscaping
- NPK mean on the fertilizer bag
- rotating compost bins ( tumblers )
- slugs and snails

If it was up to me my "Home Garden" would only have flowers, but I'm being good, next year I will have a vegetable garden as well.
I'll also be moving my herb garden right by my back door, because right now I have my herbs tucked in wherever I found the room to fit the basic herbs.
The herb garden by the back door:
1. is so that I can see the rabbits making pigs of themselves while they're eating my parsley.
2. So that I don't have to walk too far to pick them.

Perennial flower garden:
I have always had perennial flower beds. I love the surprise of new flowers everytime I go to the garden.

Rose garden:
I also have a rose garden, a lily garden, a shade garden and every flower garden that I can find room for.
Next year I want a "Zen" garden. I already have some of the plants for my Japanese garden but not the statues. Yes! I already found the rocks too. The rocks are on my neighbour's yard. Just kidding! I have some, but he has the most. :)
